Pittsboro Haw River Mural Project Story

The Pittsboro Haw River mural was created in a little more than 4 months. 

A mentoring through arts project, it included 15 local professional artists,10 middle school artists, and over 100 members of the community. This unprecedented project was funded entirely through donations. 

The final creation represents community commitment and pride in keeping the Haw River beautiful and healthy, and adding the first community art project to downtown Pittsboro NC,
